LD50 Review For iPhone and iPod Touch

Here Is My In Depth Review and Walk Through of the LD50 Application!

—General First Thoughts—

When I first saw this app I thought wow just another shooting gme bit I for the first time in my life was wrong (hahaha) it is more then just a shoot this shot that game it takes a lot more strategy then just to hit the shoot button or in this case launch button! LD50 puts all humanity on YOUR shoulders! well after all in the game you did blow up the Earth and are now trying to save the people, simple right? Shoot the enemy with Lasers and Missles alike, still seem simple? Well if you answered yes but really don’t feel like digging in your pocket to find four quarters (really 99 cents) you can download the sample “LD50 Light” and try it out before you get out your pocket shovel.

—How The Game Works—

You start out at the main menu of the game were you can choose to you play options like you Difficulty level which i would suggest the “low” option for beginners for the reason that you will need to get used to the controls and how to aim, shoot, and general other actions. You can also set if you would like to play with a buddy that is right next to you with there iPod or iPhone or play against the computer aka your iPod or iPhone! Once you set all your play settings you will be able to play but just before you click the play button you might want to read you mission , right usually helps? You can also get more information about the tools you will be using on the right side of the main menu! So lets hit  the PLAY button and see what this app is all about! When you get in to the game you will see 4 icons across the bottom with a treat wheal and then the BIG RED BUTTON which is the best button to press! Smile So the first button is the angle button, the second button is the direction button, the third button is distance, and the last one is what type of ammo you want to use. Remeber you want to start out small no nuking your first opponent!! But every control is toggled by the scroller as seen in the photo up to the right (with the rainbow colors).

—After Thoughts—

This is a great game for a person of any age whether it be your child, you, or your grandparents it really helps with hand eye coordination and also helps with your strategization skills. It is a great game and in my mind will become very popular. I personally have found very very few bugs and lets face it you can never have a perfect app!

So with all of that said, I give it a 5/5!
