Biggest Update: iPod nano Camera

Well we all knew it was coming either it be by the loads of rumors or just your predictions cameras came to the iPod line but the surprising thing is only to the iPod nano ®. When Steve says “One More Thing” you know it was going to be big and I have to agree that, “Yes the ,as i call it nano cam, is a big thing” but the fact the Apple iPod © star the iPod Touch (iTouch) was not given a camera. This fact came as a huge surprise to the onlookers not only in the conference room but anybody that heard the news. Not giving a camera to the iPod touch only leads to more rumors of the so called “Sneak attack” by the Cupertino, California company. Which would make all the iPod touch 3G user just a little ticked ! So do we know why well of coarse not nobody except Apple really knows. All we can do is just sit at our computers and wait till the day. But on the subject of the iPod nano, Apple® introduced the FM radio tuner which gets rid of another accessory next to you iPod on the shelf. So what else for Apple® to do other then think lets start even more shelf cleaning by adding the Nike+iPod© built in to the iPod nano 5G!

iTunes didn’t really live up to the rumors that most of us we have liked to see like Social Media in iTunes but Apple® really did add some things. The one that I noticed first was Home Sharing© which allows you to share music between libraries on the the same network and using the same iTunes account. Apple also added some visual things like new sidebar icons and the white background replacing the former black on when in Album View (Left Picture). Also Apple® added iTunes LP and as said by apple “Select albums now come with iTunes LP — liner notes, lyrics, photos, bonus materials, and more” Which does up you minimum requirements and for iTunes 9.0©  you must have a G4 or above so no more G3s for iTunes. Which can only leave the G4 and G5 computers shivering and hoping they will be able to run future version of iTunes and you can only recognize Apples® path to demolish the G series processors from there computers and software  as well as trying to get other developers to get rid of Universal Binary.

My Final Thoughts On The Event

OK as an iPod touch user and and Apple Fan boy I really hate to see a camera less iPod touch. But giving the underdog some advantage I can see Apples point of view. Still I think that if they did the second event it would be both a good and a bad thing. Good, the iPod touch needs a better update come on Voice controls on only the upper models and a 64gb model isn’t very much of an update. Bad, you have people that still bought the iPod Touch 3G, for some unknown reason, that have a lesser model and even a year to be up to date is a fairly short time. So my opinion is well none other then a “Full Breed” iPod Touch user I wasn’t that impressed. But congests for the nano users you just got you shelf cleaned off of two accessories.
