		<description>I just rephrased that sentence. I do agree that Microsoft didn&#039;t want to get rid of it; they wanted to really make it not as noticeable. The UAC system in Windows 7 really isn&#039;t noticeable at all, which makes it look like it&#039;s not even there. :D</description>

Wrong. If Microsoft had wanted to get rid of UAC, they would have done it.

Microsoft got lots of feedback from users and beta testers who wanted a less intrusive UAC system, thus the introduction of different levels of notification.</description>
