Here’s an app review about a sweet application for iPhone and iPod Touch that lets you control your iTunes library when ever you are connected to your home network! Why might this be useful? Let’s say you’re sitting in the house, and you have your iTunes library computer outputting the audio to your stereo, now you can control the functions of iTunes from your iPhone or iPod Touch without ever getting up off the couch. Another plus, it’s free, and made by Apple! Since we’re all lazy Americans anymore, this is a great application for all of us who like good sound, sitting in leather couches, and listening to our music.
When you launch the applications, it automatically searches the wireless network you’re connected to to find an available iTunes library. When it finds one, you get a 4 digit security pin that will be verified on the computer so you can gain control of the library. From here, you can control your remote iTunes library just like you would with the library on your iPod. You have albums, artists, songs, genres, the whole bit. It’s clean, and not delayed at all. Even play, pause, volume up/down, and skip and back options are available and responsive.
In conclusion, this is a really handy and well designed application for remotely controlling your PC or Mac’s iTunes library from your iPhone or iPod Touch over a wireless network. I use it weekly, and highly recommend it!

You can at least give us a link!
How can you do that?
On any iTunes page, just right click on the background and click “Copy Link”.
I think I’ve seen something like this before… but it was for Nokia S60 (Symbian)but it only worked with WMP and Winamp I don’t remember the name of the app but it was very useful… at least to me.
I can see this being very useful if your iTunes computer is connected to a surround system throughout your whole house!
it’s, in fact I don’t have a surround system connected to my whole house but it’s useful for partys
i’ve had this app. for a while now and i love it!
Apple always makes good apps.
