Back in Mobile World Congress, HTC revealed the Desire. The Desire is basically a Nexus One with a different design, uses an optical trackpad instead of a trackball, and Android 2.1 with HTC’s custom skin called HTC Sense. The HTC Desire features a 1GHz Snap Dragon Processor, a 3.7 inch AMOLED Screen (AMOLED stands for Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode), 576 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM (Built-in Storage), a 5 MP Camera, Auto focus, and a camera flash. On the software side, the Desire is using the latest version of HTC Sense. The new version of Sense adds a helpful feature called Leap. Leap is an easy way to see all the homescreens by doing a Pinch Out gesture. Currently, you can get the Desire in the UK via T-Mobile.
