We’ve all heard things on the Apple iPad now. It’s not new to us that all of us know that it’ll have the compatibility of using it with 3G or with Wi-Fi only.
But there is one thing we all know; we’re all hyped up about the iPad. Of course there are those type of people that just say it’s a bigger iPhone, but to be honest, I think that Apple may have something going here.
It’s just like the very first iPod. A revolutionary product, but we do not know it in the beginning. We’ll just have to see where this will take us.
Enough with that, and let’s get on with the point of this post!
By now, hopefully you know that the pre-orders start on Friday, March 12. But of course, someone is going to be there ready to click that checkout button. Because of those exact people, we need to know what time when Apple will start the pre-orders from being accepted.
At 8:30AM EST (Eastern Standard Time – New York) or 5:30AM PST (Pacific Standard Time – California), you’ll be able to get your hands on the device a step closer than you were before!
Are you going to pre-order the iPad or get one in the future? I would love to personally get one for lots of reasons, especially developing. But as of right now, the price tag, which in fact is quite low for an Apple product, does not fit my budget. I’ll see if I can at least get my hands on one when it’s released to all the vendors.
And just to let all of you know, you’ll have your iPad if you pre-order it around April 3 or about three weeks!

The iPad is a cool device, and I'd most definitely accept one if it were given to me.However, it's just not needed. If you go the all-Apple route, your iPhone and Macbook already do everything you need... it's simply unnecessary to get an iPad.It's an "oversized iPhone" in that it uses a somewhat dumbed-down smartphone operating system (as opposed to a tablet PC operating system... in Apple's case, a modified version of OS X).The iPod was a revolutionary product because it replaced big, clunky CD and MP3 players (i.e Creative Nomad) and provided a much nicer interface. The iPad... well... the whole multi-touch capacitive display thing is soooo 2007, and the fact that it can't run "desktop" apps like most other tablet PCs can is a dealbreaker.
