The Motorola Backflip is AT&T’s first Android Smartphone and features a unique form factor. The reason why it’s called the Backflip is because if you flip the phone backwards, you’ll find the QWERTY keyboard on the back. This phone has a 3.1 QVGA screen, Qualcomm 528 MHz processor, 256MB of RAM, 256MB of ROM, and Android 1.5 (Upgradeable to 2.1) with Motorola’s custom skin called Moto Blur. Moto Blur is Motorola’s skin based on Social Media. So with Moto Blur, you have FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter, and IM all in the 5 separate home screens. The Backflip has a lot of AT&T’s bloatware  such as Maps, AT&T’s Music Store, and other AT&T’s services. AT&T went as far as changing the default search engine to Yahoo! You can get the Backflip for $99 with a 2 Year Contract.
