What are MMORPG’s?

Over my years of living on Earth I’ve spent countless hours on MMORPG’s (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) or for a more comedic version (Many Males Online Role Playing Girls). I know many of you knows this  but just in case you didn’t. Like I’ve said I have played them for a long time. So I know which ones are good and which ones are very well, terrible. I will also include Some FPS (First Person Shooters) games also in no particular order.

Runescape

When I started playing this game I didn’t really find it all that Amazing. Mostly because the graphics are Java based this lacks so much things graphically but a good thing is there is no real download to play the game except the Java update. The CS (Cash Shop) in this game is very helpful but it becomes very CS based after awhile where you have to have real money to do tasks or to get better upgrades. I would give this game a try if I ever get extremely bored. But if your a hardcore gamer you should stay away.

Counterstrike

Counterstrike, you either hate or you love it. Well I love this game to an extent. With the many cheaters that use aim bots and other kinds of hacks it can be very annoying. But with the similarity to other FPS games that can be a little overlooked. This game also has a wide variety of CS items which I despise deeply and you can only keep the guns that are bought with in game cash for a limited time. It is a fair sized download but you will get more than your moneys worth shh…. it’s free. I will recommend this to the Halo and COD war junkies that like to have virtual guns in their hands at all time also this is a good causal game at times just don’t get caught playing it at school or work .

FlyForFun

Ahh…. yes good ole’ Flyforfun (Flyff). This game made me survive during the summer. It is a very big “Grind Whore” game but you can make friends and FLY!!! Well flying is the selling point to the regular user it isn’t a very important feature in the game until later levels but it is a key way of transportation. This is one of the most Cash Shop based game I have ever played and I can’t stress that enough. I admit it I’ve spent real money on this game and I fully regret it. But that is how good the game is. There are many good features for the non Cash Shop user but for the Cash Shop user there are far more. This game is a somewhat big file but since the Anime style 3D is so good it is worth it. If you want realistic players I wouldn’t recommend this game. But if you lose your mind long enough in a years time you will have a level 129 Hero in no time.

Maplestory

Maplestory is a lower end MMORPG. But don’t let its 2D graphics fool you. This game is just as good as many MMORPG’s  or better. With its very large job change choices you can be a pirate, a thief, a wizard, and more!! It is a very simple game but a very long and strenuous way of transportation as I found myself walking through the desert to get to the Warrior Master to finish my 1st job change. This game has more quest and is a “Grind Whore” game also. You become very reliant to the NX SHOP where you spend your hard earned real moola…

Perfect world

Perfect world is a somewhat messier version of Flyff but more realistic characters. I say messy as in the UI kind of lacks graphical quality but the game is another 3D grinder but has quest just like Maplestory. At the start of the game you can choose Elf class and get your fast transportation or you can wait a good 30 levels to get a better transportation. Keep in mind that this game is really slow leveling. I asked a friend with many high levels what is his pro’s and con’s he said that the game is a real money waster but it can be a lot of fun when you waste your money. I don’t have much experience since I’ve only gotten to level 12 in about a weekend. The game is very well built though and has a nice virtual economy where you can trade and sell.

Summary

Runescape: Runescape lacks great graphics and has a very Pay to Play system but is a non downloadable game. I give it a 7/10. Because it is fun to play till you get to the higher levels then I just didn’t want to spend money for a monthly member pass.

Counterstrike: Unlike the games in this post this game is a fantastic FPS. With its free and easy to use gaming experience you wont be bored and you wont be illegal looking for COD 4 Modern Warfare 2 on a torrent. But this game has its limitations like how you can’t keep a gun that is paid with in game money for more than a week. And how it is very hacker filled. But that didn’t really change my game experience. It gets a 8.5/10

Flyff: I know this game by the back of my hand and I can tell you one thing when you start playing you can’t stop until several hours pass and you become a zombie because you missed the zombie apocalypse because you were too dang busy fighting a lawolf go get a life. Just kidding! But I’m serious this game is by far the most addicting game I’ve ever played considering I’ve been playing for 3 years (off and on). I give it a 9/10. But at first glance you might think it is just child’s play with its cute graphics but after awhile you will become one with the game. This game is just a little Cash shop reliant.

Maplestory: Okay I have also had my fair share with maple story it is a big file for the 2D graphics they call amazing. It still has a lot of gameplay and a lot of quest to keep you busy you will find something to do in this game whether it’s fighting a stump or fighting a giant mushroom. Sound like Mario? Well it isn’t because Mario doesn’t have a million different classes to choose from or does he? I give this game a 6/10. The wow factor at the start of the game isn’t really there but you got to get more into it to get the feeling.

Perfect World: Will we ever have a perfect world here on Earth? HELL NO!! That is why Perfect World was made to cure all the little kids that got picked on in elementary school or to waste time as many other MMORPG’s seemed to be best for. Perfect World has amazing graphics but a messy UI that is kind of ugly. There aren’t many jobs in Perfect World but there are really nice upgrade such as getting to be able to tame a monster and use it in battle as a Venomancer at level 9 does. I give this game a 7/10 simply because the dang UI is impossible to ignore and it is just like the other grinding games except you have a couple of quest here and there.
