We’ve all heard about Pandora, the streaming internet radio client, and we have also heard the ads that it plays. Now I can understand were the

Pandora Desktop

ads come from, music isnt free for them and they need to make, not loose, money. Another cost saver is limiting the amount of skips you have per hour, 6, and the “Are You Still Listening?” menu after a while of inactivity. Both cost saving measures from Pandora.

Pandora|ONE the “Pandora Premium” service allows a longer idle period and unlimited skips as well as no advertisements betweens your music. It also adds some new features like themes and an Adobe Air Desktop Client, which brings a nice “iPhone Like” interface for Pandora on the desktop.

We have all heard the saying the best things in life are free, well not this one! Though its not free it is $36 yearly, which is $3 a month. For a higher quility and some added props to your music experience I think it more than worth it for the upgrade, what do you think? Well, while you sit on it you can try the 24 hour trial available from Pandora!

Almost every time I help somebody with, or fix, their computer I get the same question how did you learn all of this? Well, that starts us off. I am a self taught graphic designer, technology enthusiast, social media junky, and die hard (yet not obsessive) Apple fanboy. I am the proud owner of many iDevices and soon enough a MacBook Pro. One of my favorite pass times is hang out with friends so, when I am not typing out the latest news in the tech world,I am most likely hanging out with friends either in person or on Facebook, Twitter, or now Google+.

Wow! Great post, Marc!

Do you use it? I always thought about using it, but I was a bit hesitant on doing so...
