Today, Lenovo revealed the ThinkPad L412 and the L512 and this is their eco-friendly ThinkPad. The L412 and the L512 are extremely similar to the previous S series, which was their budget line up. The only differences are that the L412 and L512 got a Celeron Processor and upgradeable to a 2.13 GHz Core i3. This ThinkPad is eco-friendly because Lenovo is using recycled plastics to make the chassis and the metal for the roll-cage. Comparing to the current ThinkPad family, this is the thickest and the most budget system in their line up. Overall, I think this is a perfect budget system for someone that checks e-mail or browsing the web. This will be available later this month and the L412 is going to be $599 and $100 more for the L512.
