A new phone from Motorola with a very unique look and design is heading to AT&T. This phone will run android 2.1 with Motorola’s Motoblur. This phone offers a full QWERTY keyboard as pictured above. Instead of sliding/ flipping to view the keyboard, you simply twist the keyboard out 45’ and then it reveals a blackberry like phone with a touch screen. This phone looks very familiar to the Nokia Twist on the Verizon Wireless network. The Flipout has one of the smallest screens ever seen on an android device, at 2.8”. The resolution of the screen is 320×420. The Flipout will have a 600 MHz processor TI OMAP3410 with 512 MB ROM, and 512 MB of RAM. This phone will have a 3.1 MP camera and included the standard GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi. Last but not least, the Flipout will have an 1170 mAh Li Lon battery. This phone has already been sent out to testers and will hopefully be shipping late summer, July- August. Are you going to get this phone? Leave your answer in the comments below!

I've been fascinated with technology my entire life. I started to pick up on aspects of web development (HTML and CSS) a long time ago and started to get into "real" programming soon after. Right now, you can catch me working with Objective C, making iPhone apps along with system administration, and security. I'm also interested in graphic design, having designed the entire Tech Cores theme myself.
