As a Pandora user and a Pandora|ONE subscriber, its easy to say that is is constantly playing one my computer, through out that day it plays the songs that I like based on a few of the ones I set aside that it bases my playlists off! Now with the free, ad based service
, it as, as described, plays adds randomly between songs and you are limited in the number of daily song skips, remember its like a radio station, do you see a skip button on your radio? What what is a radio again, remember one of those clunky things that plays music when you plug into the wall…
! But seriously it was worth the $36 USD a YEAR fro additions features, like the desktop app! But what about when I am in my room, without my computer, then how do I feed my Pandora “addiction”? Well one answer is the reason for this blog post, Pandora for your iOS device! This specific post is about the iPad version!
The Good Stuff!
If you have ever used Pandora, you know what the web interface looks like, the iPad version looks very similar to that “famous” interface. Playlists on the left, music controls on the top with the album artwork in the center. But with the new iPad “iPod.app” look. With the iPad you get the biography of the artist who song is currently playing. As well as a photo of the artist in the lower left hand corner. You can also sort your playlists by date created of in alphabetical order. Now lets take a flash-forward into the future when iOS 4 is released on the iPad and, without a jailbreak, close the app and the music will continue to play without the app open, in the background!
