As a Pandora user and a Pandora|ONE subscriber, its easy to say that is is constantly playing one my computer, through out that day it plays the songs that I like based on a few of the ones I set aside that it bases my playlists off! Now with the free, ad based serviceicon, it as, as described, plays adds randomly between songs and you are limited in the number of daily song skips, remember its like a radio station, do you see a skip button on your radio? What what is a radio again, remember one of those clunky things that plays music when you plug into the wall… Winking smile! But seriously it was worth the $36 USD a YEAR fro additions features, like the desktop app! But what about when I am in my room, without my computer, then how do I  feed my Pandora “addiction”? Well one answer is the reason for this blog post, Pandora for your iOS device! This specific post is about the iPad version!

The Good Stuff!photo 1

If you have ever used Pandora, you know what the web interface looks like, the iPad version looks very similar to that “famous” interface. Playlists on the left, music controls on the top with the album artwork in the center. But with the new iPad “iPod.app” look. With the iPad you get the biography of the artist who song is currently playing. As well as a photo of the artist in the lower left hand corner. You can also sort your playlists  by date created of in alphabetical order. Now lets take a flash-forward into the future when iOS 4 is released on the iPad and, without a jailbreak, close the app and the music will continue to play without the app open, in the background!

Almost every time I help somebody with, or fix, their computer I get the same question how did you learn all of this? Well, that starts us off. I am a self taught graphic designer, technology enthusiast, social media junky, and die hard (yet not obsessive) Apple fanboy. I am the proud owner of many iDevices and soon enough a MacBook Pro. One of my favorite pass times is hang out with friends so, when I am not typing out the latest news in the tech world,I am most likely hanging out with friends either in person or on Facebook, Twitter, or now Google+.
