I knew this was going to happen… Today, the Windows Phone 7 team decided to kill the Kin. Here’s the offical statement from Microsoft:

“We have made the decision to focus exclusively on Windows Phone 7 and we will not ship KIN in Europe this fall as planned. Additionally, we are integrating our KIN team with the Windows Phone 7 team, incorporating valuable ideas and technologies from KIN into future Windows Phone releases. We will continue to work with Verizon in the U.S. to sell current KIN phones.”

Now, the Kin has two models; One and Two. Both of them has different specs and prices. The Kin is mainly focused to teens that wants to be connected with their social networks at all times. Apparently, teens weren’t interested in those devices. The OS looks confusing, the devices looks cheap, and they aren’t advertised as much as the Droid. Overall, I think the Kin was a failed device. If you have a Kin One or Two, what do you hate/like about the phone?
