Hmm, I guess AT&T aren’t selling low-end Android phones after all? The reason why I’m saying that is because today, AT&T introduced the Samsung Captivate, which is AT&T’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S. This phone features a 4 inch Super AMOLED display, Android 2.1, 1GHz processor, and could support 7.2 Mbps HSPA. For media, there’s a 5 megapixel camera with 720p recording (unfortunately, no flash here folks), 3.5 mm headphone jack (yes!), 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and sone built-in AT&T applications. So far, there aren’t any release dates and pricing. Overall, I’m quite stoked about this phone and might even replace my iPhone with this.
