There has been leaks of a Samsung Galaxy S with a keyboard and was Sprint branded. The leaks were right, Sprint is getting the Galaxy S Pro. Sprint decided to call the Galaxy S Pro, Epic 4G. I think the Epic 4G lives up to it’s name because of it’s specs. The phone has the same 4-inch 800×400 Super AMOLED screen, 1GHz processor, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, 6-axis accelerometer, 5 megapixel camera with flash, 720p video recording, Slide out QWERTY keyboard, and a VGA front-facing camera. Oh, since the phone is called the Epic 4G, let’s not forget the WiMAX radios in the phone. As you can see, this phone is packed to the gills. Software wise, it will come pre-installed with Android 2.1 on top with Samsung’s Social Hub interface. Overall, I think Android fans/ Sprint users should be excited for this phone because of it’s high-end features. SO far, there’s no real release date for this device and pricing. Now, Sprint did not mention data plan prices, but I think that Sprint will charge you an extra $10 for the 4G network.
