Now, we’ve seen a lot of leaked photos of a mysterious BlackBerry slider, which was a first for RIM. It turns out, it’s RIM’s new Blackberry, the Torch. The Torch is a pretty big deal for the people at RIM. It’s the company’s first portrait slider phone with a capacitive touch screen (with no SurePress), and also featuring BlackBerry 6 with a new Web-kit browser, a richer media experience, and heavy integration with Social Media services. The Torch also has a 5 megapixel camera with flash, Wi-Fi b/g/n, a microSD card slot (comes with a 4GB card), 512MB of RAM and ROM, a 3.2 inch 480×360 touch screen, and GPS. The BlackBerry Torch will be exclusive to AT&T for $199 on a 2 year contract.
