The Dell Aero was revealed back in CTIA and this is the company’s first smartphone. The Dell Aero features a heavily skinned version of Android 1.5, a 3.5 inch screen at a resolution of 640×360, 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, and GPS. The Aero’s design is sleek and claims to be the lightest Android phone in the market. I believe AT&T removed GMail, Google Maps, and other Google related services. They might have restricted the ability to side-load apps just like all of their Android phones. You can get this today from AT&T at $99 w/ a contract.
Note: This post was from 3/31/10. It has been modified to have Android 1.5 instead of 1.6 and the pricing/availability.
