After numerous leaks of the Droid 2, Motorola finally made the Droid 2 official. When you see the device, the first thing you’ll notice is the new design. They went to a brushed metal look and removed the d-pad on the keyboard. The Droid 2 will ship with Android 2.2 Froyo, which allows the Droid 2 to have mobile hotspot functionality ($20 per month extra) and Flash 10.1. For the specs, there’s a 3.7 inch display, 5 megapixel camera with flash, 8GB of built-in storage, and comes with a 8GB microSD card. Now, there’s no official release date yet, but it will be on Verizon for $199 with a 2 year contract.
