One shorting, sporting a three button remote control and microphone similar to the remote found on the Apple® Earphones. Also another one, longer yet lacking the remote and mic, for just plain audio. Both of the cables are Kevlar® reinforced so they will be less likely to break as well as tangle.

Design and Sound

V-MODA hit the bulls eye on style with these headphones. They stated that they spent 4 years developing and tweaking the style and other aspects of these headphones to what I would call close to perfection. I would like to quote Val Kolton, CEO of V-MODA, “Your headphones should be as unique as your style and your music – they are the most visible product that you wear and experience music with everyday…”. What this shows is that head phones need to reflect their sound quality in their design. I have bought headphones that sound great but look like they got put through the slicer in the Deli more that through the manufacturing machine and headphones that nailed the design but sounds like there was construction in the recording studio. With a 50mm Dual-Diaphragm High-Def Drivers, there is plenty of sound to go around. But with power come the fact of overpower-ment, and at times the bass can get a little out of hand with some types of music, but then again for most DJs that’s a good thing.
