As far as audio and voice morphing goes, the app store is the place to go! Most apps, fortunately, fit the purpose but make you want to close your eyes while using them. TapTapTap is a development company that has succeeded in making the app go above and beyond its purpose but also has make these apps visually, and in some cases like this one, audibly pleasing. I mention the fact of sound because that is the main focus of today’s app review. But not just any sound altered sound, whether you want to sound like a ghost or like you are in the middle of an exorcism Voices 2 is for you.
This application was very recently updated, in comparison to the publication date of this article. With the update the application was not only given more voice/sound transformations but with that more hours of fun with (or without) your friends making each other sound like robots, cyborgs, or the classic computer voice. This application allows you to not only experience the time with your friends, but keep these memories store within the app, or even embarrass them even more by posting them to Facebook, Twitter, or even e-mailing them to their friends, family, or co-workers.
Voices 2 Vocoder Example
So whether you are with a group of friends and need some quality entertainment that you all can get a laugh about, or stuck on layover in the airport and want to freak out the old lady sitting next to you on the bench/chairs Voices 2 is the effective, and visually appealing way to do that! As of right now Voices 2 is on sale in the App Store for on US$0.99. Click here to buy it!

Hmm, reminds me of my Sound Blaster Audigy 4. You could build effects using various generators (i.e. reverb, chorus, flanger) and apply them to any audio source, such as a microphone. Then you could speak into the microphone and make yourself sound like a chipmunk, in real time.Ah, good old 2006.
