Apple just released iOS 4.3 beta 2, and the people over at 9to5mac have found some interesting files. They have found a folder named “Media Stream” which contains other features that hint the features would be social related,  and this looks as if it might be hitting the next official iOS device releases.  After, some investigation I noticed that 9to5mac had posted about a “Find My Friends” feature they found in the first release of iOS 4.3 beta 1 and are starting to link all theses new features together. This appears to be Apple’s second shot at creating a social network but this time for iOS device’s.

The new features look as if they would include, Media Stream which is believed to be like a timeline where you can see friends streams, Photo Streaming which would allow user’s to subscribe to other’s streams and see user’s photo posts or uploads in your Media Stream. It also looks that Apple will add Video Streaming and Music Streaming but there is very little code to show this yet.

We believe that this will not hit iOS device’s until the next version of the iPhone when it is released this Spring as the files are very well hidden from a normal user’s eye and give very little details as to what it will include.

So, from this what can we tell might be coming to the next iPhone device?
From the code 9to5mac found and other thing’s Apple has done such as recently filed patents we think you will see…

  • Media Stream
  • Photo Stream
  • Video Stream
  • Music Stream
  • Find My Friends
  • All Above in the cloud
  • iGroups which apple filled a patent for back in March

What could Apple be planning with all these new features? Let us know what you think in the comments as it is unclear yet other than maybe a social network of applications.

Isn't that what they're already doing? Seriously, Apple has practically everything about every iOS user. :P

Yeah I think thats what they are going for. They've got more details on iOS user's than any other company on there user's.
