Right before MWC 2011 (which we’ll be covering), LG officially that there’s a 3D version of the Optimus 2X in the works. There’s some early specs on this device: a glasses-less LCD screen, HDMI, and a dual-lens 3D camera. There’s no word on the version of Android it will be running, but I’m guessing it’s Android 2.2 with LG’s skin, which looks like a blend of Touchwhiz and HTC Sense.

Not only is LG making a 3D phone, they are making a 3D capable tablet, which is planned to run Honeycomb. As you can see, the right, the G-Tablet (LG Tablet) has dual cameras, just like the the Optimus 3D.

What are your thoughts on LG going 3D on their phones? Let me know in the comments
