Lumier plans to make your Windows computer act like a Mac. Really? No.

Lumier is a company launching today at TechCrunch Disrupt in NYC that plans to retheme your Windows and give it a Mac style dock and a nice slick feel that will make it easier to use windows and navigated between your applications or running windows.

A lot of the facts/style is unknown as it is still under major development but it seems like it is going to be great for a lot of users. (Or my grandma who doesn’t know how to use Windows)

I use ObjectDock already -- I keep it at the top of the screen to hold my frequently-used programs (so that nothing stays on my desktop for too long and I don't make a mess :P). Then I keep running programs in the taskbar at the bottom. That way, I get the best of both worlds... the authentic Mac dock is quite cluttered if you ask me.

I also know of plenty "Mac" skins for Windows. How would this be different from ObjectDock + a Mac-lookalike visual style? Or does this include extra features?

By the way, Windows isn't much more difficult to use than Mac OS.
